You know when you were a little girl you loved unicorns, magic and rainbows? And like, crystals were totally awesome? New York stylist and jewelry designer Gia Bahm started her own gorgeous line of raw crystal necklaces and pendants called Unearthen.

Bahm has been a stylist and a staple in the Lower East Side for years. She live, breathes and eats crystal and those things that bring us back to our childhoods and tween years, when Holly Hobbie and Smokey the Bear were our friends. Gia has always had an affinity for cottage living in the city, and has somehow managed to bring her retro reminiscence to us in a high-end manner. Finally, we can all admit we love crystal without sounding like a Northern California mom.

Bahm travels to upstate New York to gather crystals and brings them back to her Soho studio where she marries them with bullet casings. The result is a beautiful paradoxical line of jewlery that makes all other jewelry lines out there look like a bunch of dweebs.

Make sure you visit the website - it's eerie and beautiful, not to mention educational. Bahm explains all of the elements and healing powers of the crystals, like the Phantom Quartz, which gives you clarity and power (awesome)! This collection may have healing powers, but it is not for hippies. Ew...hippies.
